#4 on THE LIST: List 10 things you would tell your 16 year-old self, if you could.
This is the only 16 year old picture of me I could find. I'm the blonde on the right :) The handsome guy next to me is my best friend Levi. Love that kid.
1. I know you aren't really sure about him,;) but hang on to that Levi kid. He and the people he will bring into your life will be the ones you lean on, and the ones that stand by you during the hard times.
2. Be completely honest, the only times you aren't are the only times you will ever really regret.
3. Build up your testimony right now because it WILL be tested later on, and it will need to be strong.
4. You WILL be a mom, so don't lose hope, and don't agonize over it too much.
5. People will say things that hurt you, and you can't control that no matter how perfect you try to be. The thing you can change is how you allow those hurtful things effect you.
6. Recognize that most people are doing the best they can. Be kind, no matter what.
7. Be nice to your family, they love you a lot.
8. Learn math. I know you think it will never come in handy, but you really will need it when you grow up.
9. Don't just goof around with Levi in Spanish class. Actually LEARN Spanish. Both of you will wish you had later in life.
10. Life's going to hurt sometimes, but more often than not it will be perfect. Notice the perfect parts more.
