Sometimes we need a reminder.

It's true, we do. We "heart" adoption! But we haven't always. We always love the blessings that it has brough to our lives, but didn't always love the process, the hoops that there are to jump through, or what it did to us emotionally. It isn't an easy journey. It isn't like going grocery shopping. It's rough. These pictures were taken as part of a gift for a friend of mine. She is going through a really hard time with her adoption right now. She has had to fight for her baby time and time again in court, and just when they thought there was an end in sight, they had another setback. It's heart breaking to think about, but it is a reality for many adoptive families. Sometimes families who are adopting need a little support. Sometimes they need to hear that you love them, or that you are thinking about them. Sometimes they need to be reminded that adoption is a really good thing. They need to know that you love adoption so that they can remember that they love it too.
