News Flash! Adoption is EXPENSIVE! It really is. And that's when everything goes smoothly. When something happens and you have to, say, go to court to fight for your child's rights, it can get even more expensive. It's no joke people. That's where my friend "Mrs. R" is right now. She is fighting the contested adoption of her sweet little boy. You can not really understand how that feels, not knowing from one day to the next whether this little baby, who you love so much, who means everything to you, might be ripped from your hands, unless you have felt it. It is indescribable fear and heart ache. Can you even imagine? But one thing I absolutely LOVE about Mrs. R is that she is a fighter. She doesn't just sit back and let things happen to her. She stands up for what is right, and fights to the death. She is going to be doing some major fighting on September 11th, and could probably use your extra prayers. In the meantime however, she has a great idea to earn some money to help cover her adoption costs. She has made some beautiful necklaces, and is selling them online. They represent what adoption means to her, and also have a lot of meaning whether you have been touched by adoption or not. So head over and CHECK THEM OUT.
