Reality Check

Today Ethan asked me when General Conference was. I told him that it wasn't for a few months. He said that he was sad because he loved conference. I thought wow, what a great thing, I must be doing something right in this motherhood thing. I mean really, what eight year old loves conference? So I asked him what he loved about it. He answered, "I love that we get to build a tent in the family room and eat junk all day and stay in our pajamas." Oops, reality check! He is just a normal little boy after all, and I am just a less than average mom after all, Whew, life is right once again...
