Older Women

Ethan is in love with an older woman. There is a nice girl who hangs out at the skate park across the street from our house, and she has made an impact on my little guy. "She's a teenager, but she's nice!" is the way he describes her. (both my kids seem to think that it's a rarity to be both, not sure where that came from...) She sticks up for him when he needs it, and always shares her skateboard. She even taught him to do a trick (actually she taught him the basic act of making the skateboard move, but if you have spent any amount of time with Ethan you know even that is pretty tricky:) And she's super pretty. And if she ever needs anything, like a band-aid or a pop-cicle, or a drink, or a drawing of superman- because all teenaged girls need those things, you know. And I know it's serious because when I ask what her name is he blushes and says "mo-om" It's actually kinda sweet. I just hope it doesn't get too serious. You know how those older women can be... :)
